Meet Amber Powell: West Michigan Runner Competing to be the Face of Muscle & Fitness HERS Magazine

Amber Powell, a dedicated runner from West Michigan, is in the running to become the face of Muscle & Fitness HERS magazine. Powell, 35, has been running since 6th grade and has competed in races and marathons across the country, including this year’s Boston Marathon.

Despite working as a hospice nurse and being a mother to two boys, Powell still finds time to run and inspire others to lead a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and exercise. If she wins the Ms. Health and Fitness contest, she plans to give back to her running team, local races, Girls on the Run, and create a race in her hometown of Middleville.
