Pre-workout benefits of oral ATP supplementation have been highlighted in a recent systematic review and meta-analysis published in Sports. The study focused on the effects of ATP supplementation on anaerobic performance, specifically looking at maximal strength, maximum repetitions, and maximum aerobic power in healthy resistance-trained subjects. The researchers found that oral ATP supplementation can lead to significantly greater gains in maximal strength compared to a placebo, and that daily intakes of 400 mg of ATP for up to 12 weeks are safe for healthy individuals.

In another study, Ahiflower oil was found to significantly increase plasma EPA levels in healthy young males, indicating its potential as a plant-derived source of EPA. The research, published in Frontiers in Nutrition, highlighted the ability of Ahiflower oil to improve EPA status in vivo and its anti-inflammatory properties.

Furthermore, a study on collagen supplementation for female joint health showed promising results. Collavant n2, a native type II collagen, was found to improve joint comfort, range of motion, and walking distance in women with knee osteoarthritis.
