Khloé Kardashian, known for her role in the reality TV show The Kardashians, has been candid about her weight loss journey following her divorce from former NBA star Lamar Odom. In a recent episode of the podcast SHE MD, the 39-year-old star shared insights into her transformation and where she stands now.

Khloé revealed that she has worked hard to achieve her current physique, stating, “I used to be overweight a lot of my life. I’ve always been even chubby-like athletic. I’ve always played sports. I just was never in shape.” She emphasized the importance of retraining her mindset around food and shared that she is now in a healthy place with her diet.

After her divorce from Lamar Odom in 2013, Khloé embarked on a weight loss journey that led her to shed 40 pounds. She admitted that initially, she struggled with the transition but eventually found solace in the gym. Khloé emphasized the importance of focusing on overall health rather than fixating on the number on the scale.

Currently, Khloé follows a rigorous workout routine, exercising five days a week and incorporating a mix of HIIT workouts and weightlifting. She also highlighted the significance of mental discipline in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, stating, “I’m never going to eat a full pizza, but it’s retraining your brain. If your brain isn’t trained with your body, then you’re not doing anything.”

Khloé also shared her experience of losing baby weight after giving birth to her daughter, True, in 2018. Despite initial concerns, she realized that she had the necessary tools to achieve her goals. “I knew what to do, and I actually lost my pregnancy weight so much faster than I ever did my regular fat weight,” she said.
