Midi Health: Revolutionizing Menopause Care and Treatment

Midi Health, a virtual care clinic for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, is making significant strides in expanding access to expert care for women experiencing hormone transitions. The company is on track to serve approximately 100,000 patients this year, a significant increase from the 30,000 patients served in 2023.

With a focus on providing insurance-covered visits and prescriptions, Midi Health aims to address the often debilitating symptoms that women in the U.S. aged 40 to 65 experience during perimenopause and menopause. These symptoms include insomnia, anxiety, depression, hot flashes, and weight gain, among others.

Unlike other companies in the menopause telehealth space that focus on selling products, Midi Health acts as a comprehensive healthcare virtual clinic, offering personalized treatment developed by menopause experts and delivered by clinicians specifically trained in menopause care. All services are accessible via telehealth and covered by insurance.

A recent survey of 2,200 Midi patients found that 91% reported overall symptom improvement within two months of their first visit, with improvements in hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, moodiness, anxiety, depression, and memory lapses.

Midi Health recently announced a $60 million Series B funding round led by Emerson Collective, bringing its total funding raised to date to $100 million. The company plans to use the funding to expand insurance coverage, hire additional clinicians, diversify service lines, and scale to care for 1 million women per year by 2029.

CEO Joanna Strober emphasized the importance of filling the gaps in women’s healthcare beyond fertility, stating, “We are so much more than our fertility, and Midi aims to fill the gaps in women’s care. What does success look like? Every woman having access to the care she deserves.”

With its commitment to providing expert care, expanding access, and improving the quality of life for women going through perimenopause and menopause, Midi Health is poised to make a significant impact in women’s healthcare.
